SICK and VISITING
– at the direction of the Branch, Committee members will be asked to contact or visit members and/or veterans who are confined by illness to hospital or home. It shall be authorized on behalf of Brandon Branch No. 003, to make gifts as it sees fit in the form of floral bouquets, fruit baskets or Legion crested fleece blankets
SECRETARY/PUBLICITY
– members of the Publicity Committee shall assist in promoting all functions related to Brandon Branch 3 by means of Social Media, local media and pertinent literature
HONOURS and AWARDS
– members will be asked to assist with organizing and contacting all current members deserving of long service pins as well as maintaining an accurate and updated data base. Members may also be asked to coordinate with the Branch President for an awards presentation evening
BINGO
– one of our biggest Committees, members will assist the Chair with organizing and supporting Bingo operations by means of selling bingo cards, calling back numbers, Bingo canteen
SPORTS
– members of the Sports Committee will assist the Chair with organizing and implementing Brandon Branch 3 sanctioned events, including annual curling spiel, annual golf tournament and various sports themed parties throughout the year
WAYS and MEANS/CATERING
– members of these committees will assist the Chair with promoting, preparing and executing event services. This will include preparing meals, serving guests, attending Branch sponsored events
