Our History
Brandon Branch #003 received its charter in December 1926 and its rich history serves as a reminder of those who gave their lives for what we have today. As you walk through the Legion, you’ll see our archives of medals and plaques and our Legion shop, where you can make purchases to support local veterans. Branch #003 also organizes the annual Remembrance Day Service.
Brandon Branch #003 Legion Today
Although historically the Legion has been portrayed as a place for older veterans, Brandon Branch #003 Legion is proud to also have a blossoming membership of all Canadians who support the principles of The Legion. From darts, pool, shuffleboard to meat draws, you’ll find all the activities you love when you become a member. General Membership meetings are held quarterly on the fourth Tuesday of the month. The meetings commence at 7:00 pm in the Banquet Hall. The Brandon branch Ladies Auxiliary received their charter May 6, 1933. New Members are always welcome. Meetings take place at 2:00pm in the Club Games Room on the first Tuesday of the month.
